This website processes as little personal data as possible: no cookies, no analytics, no external fonts. Below you will find what is processed when you visit the site or contact me.

Hosting

This website is hosted by Netlify, Inc., 512 2nd Street, Suite 200, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. When you visit the site, Netlify processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type, date and time of access and the pages you open in server logs. This is necessary to deliver the website (Art. 6 (1) f GDPR). Netlify is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; a data processing agreement is in place. Log data is deleted after 30 days at the latest.

Contact form

When you use the contact form, your name, email address, your selected interest, your message and the language version of the site are transmitted to Netlify Forms (Netlify, Inc., USA). Netlify stores the submission in a form inbox that only I can access and additionally forwards it to me by email. I use this data only to answer your request (Art. 6 (1) b GDPR). The data remains stored in the Netlify form inbox and in my mailbox for as long as it is needed to handle your request and any resulting work together, or for as long as legal retention periods apply. On request I will delete your enquiry at any time, unless a retention obligation prevents this. Transfers to the USA are based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, under which Netlify is certified; a data processing agreement is in place. To protect against spam, the form contains a hidden field that only automated programs fill in; Netlify discards such submissions.

Email, phone, WhatsApp

If you contact me by email, phone or WhatsApp, I process the data you provide to handle your request. WhatsApp is a service of WhatsApp Ireland Ltd., which processes metadata such as your phone number on its own responsibility; please refer to the WhatsApp privacy policy. If you prefer not to use WhatsApp, the contact form and email are available at any time.

Video lessons

Lessons take place on a video platform. Which platform, and how it processes your data, is agreed with you before the first lesson.

Cookies and analytics

This website uses no cookies, no tracking and no analytics tools. Fonts are hosted on the server of this website; no data is sent to Google or other font providers.

Translator

On the translator page you can enter text that your browser sends for translation to MyMemory, a service of Translated SRL, Via Indonesia 23, 00144 Rome, Italy. Transmitted are the text, the language pair and, for technical reasons, your IP address. This happens only when you enter text, to provide the function you requested (Art. 6 (1) b GDPR). This website does not store your input. MyMemory is a translation memory and may retain submitted texts, so do not enter confidential or personal data. See the privacy policy of Translated (mymemory.translated.net) for details.

Your rights

You have the right to information, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability and objection regarding your personal data (Art. 15–21 GDPR). You can complain to a data protection supervisory authority; responsible for Bavaria is the Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht (BayLDA), Ansbach.
